Amy Smith made history at North Melbourne as the first father/daughter pick in the AFLW 2020 draft. The daughter of high-flying
forward Shaun Smith, Amy turned her back on a promising Basketball career to pursue her AFLW dream.

In her short time with the Kangaroos, Amy has earned a reputation as a capable utility player. Her natural strengths as an elite runner combined
with her aerobic capacity, suits her position on the wing which she is quickly making her own. Fierce in the tackle and composed with the ball, she’s
developed rapidly in her two seasons at the club and has shown herself to be an incredibly versatile option in the wider areas of the ground.
