Hannah Bowey

AFLW – North Melbourne Football Club

Hannah comes from a strong football pedigree with Dad Brett playing 85 games for St. Kilda, and Brother Jake a current premiership player with Melbourne.

Hannah came to the attention of North Melbourne after two solid seasons with the Collingwood VFLW team in 2021 & 2022. As a mid-fielder, her impressive running and ground coverage, combined with her ability to take the game forward made her a stand out on match days.

After joining North Melbourne as an injury replacement player prior to the AFLW Season 7, she eventually made her debut in Season 7, Round 10, 2022 replacing injured skipper Emma Kearney at half back. Following her impressive debut in the last home and away round for the season, she was trusted for her role for the remainder of the season – being North Melbourne’s three finals for the season.

With a handful of games under her belt, Hannah is now poised to become a breakout player in Season 8.
